Five reality TV shows have been nominated for GLAAD awards, and all but one of the nominees feature(d) at least two gay cast members. The nominated shows are Survivor Vanuatu, which didn’t show any same-sex kissing but had two lesbian cast members; American Candidate; Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, which is self-explanatory; The Real World Philadelphia, the first season of the series to include two gay men; and Big Brother 5, which had one gay cast member but may have been nominated for its homoeroticism.
