Kathleen Madigan says Last Comic 3 comics still waiting for their cash.
Not only did NBC refuse to air the final episode of Last Comic Standing 3, but they’re also apparently holding on to the comics’ prize money. Comic Kathleen “Madigan said she and her teammates are still waiting to collect the prize money they won during the weekly competitions,” The Rocky Mountain News reports. While she says that the show “definitely raises your visibility” and “gets your name in the game,” she also says that life during the second season wasn’t easy. On Last Comic Standing 2, “There was no TV, no radio, no computer, no cell phones. They finally took the treadmill and basketball court away and that’s when I started chain smoking,” she says. “On the first season, when you’d see them open the refrigerator, they’d have all kinds of food. But we had to beg: ‘Can someone please go to the grocery store?’”
