current eBay auction bid for dinner with Survivor’s Rupert Boneham: $15,600.
As of 9:30 a.m. ET this morning, someone is willing to pay $15,600 for a chance to sit down and have a meal with bearded Survivor Pearl Islands cast member Rupert–and dinner isn’t even included in the price. As the eBay auction detail page explains, the high bidder will have the “America’s Tribal Council winner come to your house to have dinner with you and your family and friends. You supply the meal–we’ll provide Rupert’s travel to and from your home.” The auction is being conducted by CBS as part of a series of auctions promoting their fall line-up; proceeds benefit The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Other items up for bid include flamingo lawn ornaments from a Big Brother 5 veto challenge; current bid is an insane $188.19.
