Returning for the third season of Pop Idol will be hosts Ant and Dec, who were the subject of “some speculation that the pair had grown bored with the show,” Digital Spy reports. They’re definitely coming back, though, but not until next fall, in 2005, which is when the series debuts. With its newly announced subtitle “The Next Generation,” Pop Idol 3 will also continue its mission to explore strange, new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, and to boldly go where no one has gone before.
