Amazing Race 5 stays in the summer; TAR 6 move means it’s Sat.’s “strongest.”
While CBS had talked about moving The Amazing Race 5 from a July 6 premiere to a fall debut, TV Week reports (second item) that “CBS still plans to air the fifth edition … this summer.” It is, however, shifting the fall debut The Amazing Race 6 slightly, moving it up an hour on Saturday nights to 8 p.m. ET. Media Life says this change indicates “that ‘Race’ is actually the night’s strongest program.”
