Nashville Star runner-up releases album.
John Arthur Martinez, the first season runner-up of Nashville Star, released an album, and says the show “change[d] his life,” according to Country Weekly Online. Lone Starry Night came out at the beginning of May. However, it hasn’t quite changed his financial situation yet: He says, “At this point, Yvonna [his wife] and I realize that until the income increases, we’re still not there yet. Maybe we’ll have some success with this single and the album, and maybe by this summer we can look into moving.” He is, however, still recognized, and recalls the time when he was “waiting for my wife outside the ladies’ room” and became “trapped” by hordes of autograph-seekers.
