scalpers selling fake Clay Aiken tickets.
During his upcoming tour, American Idol 2‘s Clay Aiken will perform in his home state of North Carolina during the state fair. Scalpers “are already trying to sell tickets to the Oct. 18 Clay Aiken concert for large sums of money,” the state’s agriculture commissioner tells NBC 17. There’s just one problem: Tickets aren’t on sale yet, nor have they even been printed. “I can assure you that these offers are not legitimate because we have not yet printed our concert tickets,” he says. $15 reserved tickets go on sale Sept. 3 for the Oct. 18 performance.
