Justin Guarini: “I’m pursuing my dream elsewhere,” planning second album.
After losing American Idol, losing his record label, and losing his integrity with “From Justin to Kelly,” Justin Guarini tells TV Guide, “To be perfectly honest, I’m pursuing my dream elsewhere.” Although he’s referring to his failed relationship with RCA, he says “talking to a couple of labels and some songwriters” and will probably put out a new album next year. In the meantime, he’s challenging himself by, among other projects, playing himself on FOX’s North Shore. He’s “also waiting to hear if he snagged the role of Che in Hal Prince’s national touring company of Evita,” TV Guide says.
