UK’s Big Brother 5 adds glass shower.
In an effort to sex up the fifth season of the UK’s Big Brother, a large, walk-in closet-sized shower with crystal-clear glass walls, has been added to the new house. It opens to the back yard, although The Sun reports that “[m]odest housemates can hide their blushes with a button that frosts the glass.” Rather than just redecorating a mobile home, as producers for the US series seem content to do, UK producers have made a number of changes, including replacing bedrooms with one big room, although it is divided with a removable screen. In addition, a source tells The Sun that the house “seems really small and cramped. The programme makers are hoping that will lead to a lot of close contact.”
