CBS picks up The Amazing Race 6.
Happy about the forthcoming The Amazing Race 5, CBS has greenlit The Amazing Race 6. Variety says this “is a sign Eye execs are pleased with how ‘Race 5′ turned out. It can also be seen as an indication that CBS is strongly considering opening up another hour in its lineup for reality programming–possibly on Saturday nights.” CBS already cast for a sixth season, although it’s possible they could open up casting again. Season five debuts July 6.
