Voting is over, and the consensus from the judges and the critics seems to be that American Idol 3 is Fantasia Barrino’s to lose. Still, Diana has fans: In Georgia, the governor, taking time away from actually governing, declared it Dial for Diana DeGarmo Day and asked Georgians to vote for her, the AP reports. Through a spokesperson, North Carolina’s governor encouraged people to “vote for the best talent–and that’s Fantasia.” The Calgary Sun runs down the performances from last night if you missed the show. The two-hour (good lord) finale begins at 8 p.m. ET.
