Marijuana was allegedly found on Ruben Studdard’s tour bus yesterday; Ruben “was not on the bus, but three people who were face charges,” NBC 4 Columbus reports. The Ohio State Highway Patrol says “[t]he bus was stopped because it did not move over or slow down for a trooper who was on the berm.” Ruben performs tonight at the Ohio Theatre. The American Idol 2 winner recently played in Chicago, where the Tribune said that “he fell far short of filling all the seats in the Auditorium Theatre Friday night.” However, the reviewer writes that “his show had something all the other ‘American Idol’ tours lacked. It had a hint of spontaneity, a genuine sense of fun, and a dedication to music over showmanship. In other words, it had soul.”
