Apparently not confident in quarterback Jesse Palmer’s charisma to keep the fifth season of The Bachelor afloat, producers are borrowing a page from other dating show’s playbook and adding, for the first time, a twist. That twist, according to Extra, is as follows (highlight to read): “One of the 25 Bachelorettes is actually Palmer’s best friend–and she will act as a mole, tipping Palmer as to what the girls are really like when he’s not around.” The series premieres next Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET.
