Nashville Star 2 debuts tonight.
USA Network’s Nashville Star 2 debuts tonight, going on a second nationwide search for a country music star. Tonight’s 90-minute episode, titled “The Road to Nashville,” starts at 10 p.m. ET, and follows the search for semi-finalists, and then the narrowing of those 20 semi-finalists to 10 finalists. Unlike American Idol, these country music folk cut to the chase; the entire series lasts only nine weeks. Live episodes begin next week with the addition of an 11th finalist who will be selected by viewers; call or vote online tonight.
