New York Giants’ quarterback Jesse Palmer will be the fifth Bachelor.
A fifth season of The Bachelor is coming to ABC in April, and it will star someone who has, surprisingly enough, not appeared on any of the previous seasons of the show. Instead, New York Giants quarterback Jesse Palmer, 25, will use the show to look for love. ABC confirmed a report on last night’s Extra that the Canadian was cast. The New York Post reports that he might not be a huge draw: he “started the final three games of the Giants’ miserable season, taking the place of injured Kerry Collins,” and the Giants’ lost all three of those games. Additionally, he “is soon to be a free agent, and his future with Big Blue – or any pro team – looks cloudy.”
