Jon Dalton signs with TNA Wrestling.
Jon Dalton’s “Jonny Fairplay” shtick on Survivor Pearl Islands may not have won him the game, but it has landed him a contract with TNA Wrestling. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling airs pay-per-view matches every Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET; Jon will make his debut Jan. 21. In a press release that attributes much of the latest Survivor season’s success, TNA’s president says, “Based on the reaction Jonny drew from 20+ million viewers weekly, there’s no doubt he will ignite both controversy and intrigue each week on TNA’s pay-per-views.” For his part, Jon offers this witty remark: “I’m Jonny Fairplay, and I don’t play fair.” Jon is presently giving the finger to visitors of TNA’s web site.
