Ashley Parker Angel is “a fan of Making the Band 2,” which is out on DVD.
Former O-Town member Ashley Parker Angel is fulfilling his promise to record a solo album, just as he said he would, aiming to = John Mayer + Vanessa Carlton. “I’m really excited to primarily be onstage with a guitar and a piano and being able to have a hand in the writing of every song on the album,” he tells MTV. His album is being produced by “Clif Magness, who has worked with Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken.” Ashley also says that although he doesn’t watch other reality TV shows, he’s a big fan of Making the Band 2: “I had to watch it, of course. I mean, that’s where I came from.” While ABC has yet to give us a DVD of the first season with outtakes of Ashley in the shower, maybe he can pick up a copy of Making the Band 2 – The Best of Season 1, which was released on DVD late last year.
