The host of Pop Idol 2, Kate Thornton, says that rumors about her and judge Simon Cowell “completely untrue.” Kate says she’s “mortified that everyone thinks I’m shagging Cowell. He’s got a beautiful girlfriend so that would make me a homewrecker–and a woman of poor taste.” American Idol host Ryan Seacrest had no comment. None at all. The best part about Ananova’s report: they replace the g’s and a in “shagging” with asterisks. Is that really the UK’s vulgar equivalent of the f word?
