World Idol finale airs New Year’s Day.
The winner of World Idol will be unveiled on Thursday, New Year’s Day, at 9 p.m. ET on FOX. Who will win? Kelly Clarkson and Will Young were early favorites, and Simon Cowell expressed his love for Kelly’s talent during the show. The Canadian Press is dismissing their nation’s entrant, Ryan Malcolm, while the New York Post says “the strong performance of Norwegian Kurt Nilsen,” “a plumber with two kids and the face of a lawn gnome,” was the contest’s big surprise.
