Showtime may air American Candidate.
Exactly one month ago, as he did in August, RJ Cutler teased that there’d be an announcement about American Candidate soon. According to an article in Variety–at least the part that’s not hidden for subscribers only–the announcement apparently involves Showtime agreeing to pick up the series. The show will begin production in February and air next summer, Variety says.
