Doug helps students; Ty is 38.
Doug Wilson took a break from Trading Spaces to help students design a space at his alma mater, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Industrial design students are designing their own studio space as their building is being remodeled. Doug told the Daily Illini he was there “to create excitement around the project and encourage them to take risks and have fun with it, to just support them as students.” While at the university, Doug majored in voice and theatre.
