American Candidate producer RJ Cutler is “keeping an eye on all of the personal Web sites that popped up during the California race and using them as examples for why ‘American Candidate’ would work,” the New York Daily News reports. “An announcement is forthcoming” about the show, he says, but he also said that back in August. The paper also reports on Residents, which Discovery Health picked up after TNT dropped it; Discovery Health is airing four episodes now on Sunday nights, and then will air the entire series starting in January.
