The Amazing Race 5 is now casting.
Applications are now begin accepted for The Amazing Race 5, after CBS “[gave] executive producers Bertram van Munster and Jerry Bruckheimer the green light to begin casting,” according to ComingSoon.net, which reports on an article in Variety. Although there’s no official renewal yet, as the site points out, “[t]he network traditionally lets its reality producers begin casting only when there’s a solid shot of a pickup or renewal, particularly when it comes to existing franchises.” Applications are due Wednesday, Oct. 8, and the application says the show will tape starting in January.
