Chris Moore: it’s “a total lie” that the series is just about controversy.
Project Greenlight 2 and The Battle of Shaker Heights producer Chris Moore says the suggestion that the series is all about controversy is “a total lie,” and says the suggestion that the directors were chosen just to make a good TV show is “absolute bullshit.” “The two directors we chose were amazing. Our screenwriter was great. They were the best choices. We honestly felt that they could make a successful movie,” he tells the Chicago Sun-Times. Additionally, “I need people to see the movie because if not we won’t have another Project Greenlight series. We don’t make all our money off the TV show,” he says.
