Selling more copies of his country CD “in the first week by any country debut CD since Leann Rimes’ ‘Blue’ in 1996, Nashville Star winner Buddy Jewel debuted at #13 among all records, and was #1 on the country chart, according to Zap2it.com. 51,765 copies of his self-titled CD Buddy Jewel were sold. It debuted a week ago this past Tuesday.
