Buddy Hacket’s last appearance was as a judge on Last Comic Standing.
Comedian Buddy Hackett died a week ago today. His last public appearance, it turns out, was as a judge on Last Comic Standing. On the show, he verbally fought with Joe Rogan, telling him to “shut the [expletive] up,” according to the Calagary Sun. In his Chicago Sun-Times obit, Jerry Kupcinet writes that Buddy “felt that the other guy [Rogan] didn’t really understand the comedy. Well, there’s one thing about Buddy. He always understood the comedy.”
