Former American Idol 2 finalist Frenchie Davis will debut on Broadway in Rent May 16, Playbill reports. Frenchie be an ensemble player who sings one of the soloist parts in “Seasons of Love.” … The compilation album from the other American Idol 2 finalists, American Idol Season 2: All Time Classic American Love Songs, debuted at number two on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. It sold just over 100,000 copies, Zap2it.com reports. On its heels is Kelly Clarkson’s debut album, which stayed at number three for the second week in a row (after debuting three weeks ago at number one).
