Some residents who live on the same block as house being used for the second season of Making the Band 2 are upset with the production, with one neighbor circulating a petition that demands MTV’s departure. The president of the neighborhood association, which accepted a donation from MTV, tells The Villager, “I think this P. Diddy Combs has gotten such extremely bad publicity that everybody is emotionally up in knots…They’re not thinking clearly.” Other neighbors have no complaints and say the house has been quiet. In an unrelated incident, a puppy died after falling from the house’s roof.
