Stern says he’s suing Are You Hot.
Are You Hot, which is being ignored by big advertisers, may be sued by Howard Stern. The radio show host says he had a television show based upon a similar contest he conducted on his radio show. After ABC’s version debuted, the network producing his show “called me up and said: ‘No deal. We don’t want to rip them off and we don’t want to seem derivative and, besides, the ratings there are horrible,’” The New York Post reports Howard said on his show. He promised “[i]t’s all going to come out in the lawsuit.”
