Canadian Idol announces cities; Edmonton and Ottawa not included.
Canadian Idol will hold auditions in April and May in seven cities, but Edmonton and Ottawa are not among the locations. The competition is open to those 16 to 26 years old. Also, CTV says it will air the series this summer, beginning in June, for a total of 24 episodes.
