ABC plans UK hit Wife Swap.
In the UK, the BBC’s new reality TV series Wife Swap has become a huge hit, with its second episode being watched by 5.7 million viewers. In the US, an ABC official says the network is working on a pilot of the show, which “features two women who switch husbands and families for 10 days … but they don’t actually have sex with each other’s partners,” the New York Post reports. The UK’s first episode found “a woman who was against mixed-race relationships being paired with a sexist black man.” The US version will be called The Swap.
