VH1 looking for budding divas; Bands on the Run not on list of upcoming shows.
VH1 is adding another reality TV show to the ones it already has in development, including Stage Moms, but the list of planned shows, which mostly features one-hour specials, doesn’t include Bands on the Run. That show, which once was casting for a second season, appears to not be returning any time soon. Instead, VH1 is casting for Destination Diva, which has the familiar-sounding subtitle “Search for a Superstar.” The network is looking for singers, male or female, who will ultimately participate in a “diva boot camp.”
