After performing a song he wrote along with three others, David Sneddon, 24, won the BBC’s Fame Academy with 3.5 million of the 6.9 million votes, barely beating Sinead Quinn. He wins “a £1m record contract, a luxury flat in Notting Hill for a year, a sports car and the chance to live the life of a celebrity,” according to the BBC.
