Liza and David discuss cancellation, blaming “rude and unreasonable” VH1.
VH1 cancelled a planned Osbournes-style show focusing on Liza Minnelli and her “husband” David Gest, citing a lack of “access and co-operation,” The Toronto Star reported. Now Liza and David “are launching a media blitz against VH1,” showing up on Larry King tomorrow and Letterman later this month, according to the New York Post. They’re saying “it was VH1 that was rude and unreasonable, damaging their apartment and trying to shoehorn unready young performers into a rehearsed musical performance at a dinner party filmed at the couple’s New York apartment,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
