UK Popstars contestant admits he lied about his age and quits the show.
Popstars: The Rivals contestant Peter Smith doctored an ID card to pretend he was 23; he’s 25 and the show’s cut-off is 24. “I don’t feel like a genuine person and I can’t take up offers when I know that I cheated to get on the show,” Peter told The Sun, saying he won’t sign any record contracts that might be offered to him for at least a year.
