Last week Popstars: The Rivals contestant Nicole Ward quit the show, saying, “The contract is outrageous. If we win we have to sign up to an agreement, which means they own us,” MTV reports. The first contestant to be kicked off the show by the voting public disagrees with Nicole’s statements: Lynsey Brown said the experience was “fantastic” and says, “I don’t feel exploited in any sense. People in a band don’t get so much exposure,” according to Ananova.
