Anderson Cooper won’t return for Hawaii-based celeb Mole or The Mole 3.
Contradicting earlier reports which said Anderson Cooper was “under contract” to appear in The Mole 3, ABC announced that Anderson will not host upcoming editions of the show. According to Variety, “CNN execs asked Cooper to choose between his gig as a reality host and his job as a reporter-anchor for the news cable channel.” He chose CNN. The show is headed to Hawaii to film the celebrity edition, which will star Stephen Baldwin and Kathy Griffin, among others.
