The co-host of the first season won’t return to host American Idol 2. Brian Dunkleman says he’s going to “pursue other opportunities in the world of TV and feature films.” Uh huh. Reuters reports that “Fox execs were lukewarm at best about Dunkleman’s return, though not necessarily opposed to the idea.” Ryan Seacrest has been rehired.
