American Idol 2 auditions start Oct. 21 in Detroit; visits to seven cities planned.
In order to find the next slate of finalists, American Idol 2 will hold auditions in seven cities, starting with Detroit on Oct. 21. After that, the show will tentatively visit New York, Atlanta, Nashville, Miami, Austin, and L.A. Anyone ages 16 to 24 is eligible to audition, according to the official rules. “The top 30 contestants” from the first season are ineligible to audition again.
