Corner III say they’ve received five calls telling them to “kill” the film or else there will be “legal action and possible future blackballing within the industry”; they say the calls were received after they sent copies of the film to Showtime and Comedy Central, both of which are owned by CBS’ parent company, Viacom. A CBS spokesperson “doubted whether the calls were even made,” but then said, “It sounds to me like (Howard and Corner) are infringing upon our copyrights,” the AP reports.
