Ryan Seacrest will host AI2 for nearly $1 million; Dunkleman may not return.
Ryan Seacrest will receive nearly $1 million to host American Idol 2, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His co-host, however, isn’t so lucky; “[n]o decision has been made yet on” whether Brian Dunkleman will return. The paper reports “that Seacrest might fly solo in the second series, while a female co-host is also a possibility, mostly in the early rounds.”
