all 30 American Idol seminfinalists reunite; Kelly sings with Reba McEntire.
The finalists, winner, and 20 semifinalists of FOX’s American Idol perform tonight at 8 p.m. as part of a two-hour special. The special, taped last Wednesday in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand and other locations, will also feature a duet between Kelly Clarkson and Reba McEntire. Although “[o]ne of the heavily promoted aspects of the special was that viewers would be able vote for Clarkson’s next single,” Billboard reports that won’t happen. A holiday special is also in the works; it will air Dec. 17.
