Project Greenlight 2 announced; seeks both scriptwriter and director.
HBO, Miramax, and Live Planet are planning Project Greenlight 2, a second season of the show that chronicled the production of a film (Stolen Summer). This time, however, the contest is looking for both a script and a director–the winning director will direct the scriptwriter’s film. Once again, Miramax is promising a $1 million budget for the film. Submissions for both contests will be accepted from Sept. 19 to Oct. 2; winners will be announced Jan. 17.
