Nikki McKibbin is “not ashamed at all” of her former job working as a stripping dancer at a club in Texas, Entertainment Tonight reports. Of her job, the third-place American Idol contestant says, “I was having trouble finding a job. … I was having trouble taking care of my son, so I did what I had to do to take care of him. I am not ashamed at all.” She only “stripped down to her skivvies,” Entertainment Tonight reports, and the club’s owner remembers her as “a class act” who used to sing to the club’s patrons.
