The creator of the UK’s Pop Idol which was taken to other countries like the US (American Idol) and South Africa, wants the winners of each country’s show to battle each other in a show called World Idol. Simon Fuller is planning the worldwide show, in which “the whole world will vote, and we’ll work the voting system so that the population of the country will be fair and proportional to the votes the contestants receive,” he told Billboard.
