American Idol had its highest audience yet on Tuesday; it was watched by 10.5 million viewers. ABC came in second for the evening among viewers 18 to 49, boosted by The Mole 2, which was watched by a half million more viewers than last week, bringing its total to 7.8 million viewers; that helped it move up to third place in its time slot.
