The Mole 3 “absolutely” a possiblity.
The Mole 3 was greenlit but stopped production last fall after the second season–now airing on ABC–was pulled from ABC’s schedule. But according to Scott Stone, one of the producers of the show, there is “[a]bsolutely” a chance that the show will return for a third season. “Everything we’re hearing from the network is that they’re very happy, and we’re feeling optimistic,” Stone tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, pointing out that the show is the “highest-rated show with viewers 18-49 on all of ABC this summer.” He also says that Anderson Cooper is “under contract,” so he’d return as host.
