In the cover story of July’s Out magazine, Road Rules 11‘s Shane Landrum, the first gay man on the show, says that past gay cast members of The Real World and Road Rules “inspired Landrum to be on the show–and out of the closet.” He also says that during the show, he “definitely made out with a lot of girls. I don’t shy away from it. But I want a relationship with a man and to have a husband and a life.” In the interview, an excerpt of which is online, he says he’s 100 percent gay but says “people are fluid.”
