After being confronted with the arrogance of the four-person alliance–Zoe, Tammy, Robert and John–at the immunity challenge, the remaining five members on Survivor Marquesas banded together and voted off the self-proclaimed leader of the four, John, effectively flipping the game for the first time. Although they were planning to vote with the alliance, Neleh and Paschal joined Kathy, Sean, and Vecepia to form the counter-alliance. Even more surprisingly, Zoe joined them, making the final vote 6 to 3.
