ABC plans reality TV show that will follow troops fighting overseas.
Jerry Bruckheimer, The Amazing Race‘s executive producer, and Bertram van Munster, the creator of Cops, are teaming up to produce Profiles From the Front Line, a 13-episode show for ABC that “will follow U.S. troops as they combat terror in global hot spots such as Afghanistan, the Philippines and South America.” The series, which van Munster says will “have a pro-military, pro-American stance,” will likely debut this summer.
